In Peter Pan, Tinker Bell has this magical powder that makes you fly, but here's the catch: it only works if you believe it will.
In Peter Pan, magic can only work, and therefore be seen, if you believe.
You have to believe it to be able to see it.
This might be the truest thing Disney has ever said. Because it's true for me and you. Life is magical: water falls from the sky, babies get born, you know you exist. All this stuff, regardless of the scientific explanations, is magical.
But only if you see it as such.
Magic, to be seen, has to be believed.
The story in Peter Pan is the truth. The story you tell yourself every day about the world and yourself is the truth. Stories can reveal truths that reality hides, in many ways.
Magic can exist if you believe in it.
This is the whole point of this newsletter, and I am happy you're here now.
How stories can shape reality, what's magic in everyday life, what makes sense and what doesn't need to, how technology can actually be a great way to bring back a magical eye on the world, how to see life differently to try to live a better life... All those questions, we'll explore here.
I won't try to give answers, or even to find any. But that's the whole point: sometimes asking the right question, or not having any, is the answer.
"Imagination is more important than knowledge," they say. Well here, we'll try to access it.
